We've had a lot of folks connecting with us lately to ask, "Hey, Norton Singers, after such a phenomenal season, what's next?"
To update everyone, although we have chosen our talented team for the spring show, we are currently working through the final approval process. We hope to share with everyone the name of our fabulous spring production shortly.
That said, we are thrilled to announce our fall 2027 production already. After the phenomenal success of This Is Your Song: The Elton John Songbook, we knew we wanted to do something similar in the new year. And one superstar's songbook became obvious immediately: that of the amazing Dolly Parton, who had a career spanning five decades, selling over 100 million records worldwide as a solo artist and writing more than 3,000 songs, including classics like "Jolene," "Coat of Many Colors," and "I Will Always Love You." And, just being an all-around wonderful person.
So with that said, we are pleased to announce Norton Singers will again be partnering with the Marilyn Rodman Performing Arts Center next year throughout the weekend of 9/25 (Nine to Five, for y'all in the know), which just happens to fall on a Saturday, to produce "We Will Always Love You: The Dolly Parton Songbook." Oh yes, Ted and Lisa will be returning to head up the festivities once again! And we hope to see many other familiar faces returning, too.
We held a party during the Elton show, with over 70 friends onstage…and we want to have more fun in the new year! More details to come….stay tuned!
