It was a great run.
The Norton Singers
production of 42nd Street was a great artistic success.

Two of the performers in
the group’s recent production have been recognized by the Eastern
Massachusetts Association of Community Theaters (EMACT), as nominees
in EMACT’s 7th
annual DASH awards. The nominees are
long-time Norton Singers choreographer and Falmouth resident Judee
Bottomley in the category of “Best Choreography for a Musical
Production,” and Needham resident Janet Ferreri, in the category of
“Supporting Actress in a Musical.”
The show was filled with
music from the 1930’s Warner Brothers musical songbook, including
“We’re in the Money,” “Lullaby of Broadway,” “You’re Getting to Be a
Habit with Me,” “Dames,” and, of course, the title song.
In addition to our award nominated
choreographer, the other members of the creative team were
Greg Geer as stage director, with Dr. Anthony Alexander Torelli serving as musical director and conductor.
